Calibre: .540 one turn in 66″
Stock: AAA Grade French Walnut, left handed, Chequered at wrist, scallop shell carving to rear of tang, Ebony ramrod with Moose Ivory tip.
Lock: Clark Flint, muffle blued.
Furniture: Steel, engraved and muffle blued.
Case: Honduras Mahogany with ebony keyed corners, compartmented and lined with green baize.
Accessories: spare lock, flint wallet, spring vise, pan brush, oil bottle, joint rod, jag, ball mould with French Walnut handles, flask, set of three turnscrews with rosewood handles.

Stock: Right hand figured English walnut, with London oil finish, Chequered at wrist, scallop shell carving to rear of tang, Ebony ramrod with Moose Ivory tip.
Barrel: 54 cal. GRRW Swamped 28 inch long
Hardware: Steel blued (old time Colt blue)
Locks: Clark Flint colour case hardened
Accessories: Flask, flint wallet, Ebony Joint Rod, cleaning jag. oil bottle, three turnscrews with ebony handles, spring vise, .530 lyman mould with custom ebony handles
Case: Honduras Mahogany with ebony keyed corners and brass ring lift handle to the lid, compartmented and lined with green baize, spar varnish finish.

Lancaster Rifle

This rifle was made for Charles Burnett of England. At the customer’s request the wood was to be Native to Zimbabwe, Africa. The wood used was Sepele, a harder member of the Mahogany family, with a trigger pull of 16 inches. The patch box was an early Jacob Dickert example.
